Anti-choice groups sue for the right to lie to women

Within 24 hours of the signing of the Reproductive FACT Act, anti-choice groups sued because they do not want to share basic reproductive health information with woman. We are now fighting five lawsuits, backed by multi-million dollar right-wing organizations. These groups are trying to roll back social progress and impose values that are out of step with California. We won’t be bullied or compromise our pro-choice principles.

Exposing a major anti-choice training conference

As more than 1,000 anti-choice activists from around the country arrived in San Diego for the annual Care Net conference, NARAL Pro-Choice California gave them a taste of their own medicine. NARAL teamed up with two comedians on an ad featuring a “tourist guide” filled with the kind of unreliable information women receive when visiting Care Net’s crisis pregnancy centers.

Comedians give fake #CPCAdvice

Comedians are just as qualified to give advice to pregnant women as the “counselors” at CPCs. When we released our CPC report, comedians took to Twitter to mock the ridiculousness of these anti-choice groups that will do or say anything to block women from exercising their right to choose. This advice isn’t half as bad as what so-called “counselors” at CPCs tell pregnant women.
